Teaching adults and young adults is a supportive, not a prescriptive, process. Students learn most when they take responsibility for their own learning. I seek to build the skills and tools students need to become life-long learners. The core of my teaching approach, whether working with small groups or lecture halls, is to develop the ability of students to identify and grasp “big picture” concepts, their acumen in asking the right questions, and their self-confidence to become critical and independent thinkers.
